I’m Camoy Briscoe, the founder of Design By Mine, an interior decorating and professional organizing studio focused on intentional, functional design. I grew up on Long Island in a close, family-oriented environment that shaped my appreciation for home, gathering, and thoughtful living. Today, I reside in Brooklyn, where I remain deeply involved in both my community and my profession.
My love for design began early. At just seven years old, fashion became my first creative language, teaching me proportion, balance, and the importance of detail. That early foundation continues to influence how I approach interiors today. With over 10 years of hands-on interior experience, paired with a strong background in professional organizing, I design spaces that are visually refined, intuitive, and easy to live in. My parallel career as a Leasing Manager in NYC’s luxury multifamily market further sharpened my eye for space planning, scale, and flow.
My lifestyle is rooted in intention. I’m plant-based, value wellness and hosting, and believe a home should be expressive, organized, and functional. I develop practical systems that support daily living while allowing each space to feel personal and balanced.
I love entertaining, curating experiences, and-yes-showing off my walk-in shoe closet. My personal aesthetic leans modern and forward-thinking, with an appreciation for futuristic decor and clean, impactful design moments. I’m just as social as I am detail-driven; a well-connected network has organically generated a steady stream of referrals, allowing my portfolio to grow through trust and word of mouth. My gift is bringing clarity and personality into a space, creating interiors that feel intentional, personal, and built to last.
